Playing Tips
The 1st hole is proudly sponsored by Total Comfort Plumbing Services.
A delightful opening hole with the green in full view, set on a ridge a few metres lower than the tee and 281m away.
The tree-lined fairway gently undulates between the tee and green that you may not see the ball come to rest if it lands in a hollow.
The ideal tee shot should be 210m to 225m, and finish slightly right and short of the first bunker, resulting in an uphill lob-wedge from a level stance to the centre of the green.
Any tee shots drawing to left of centre will likely funnel further left and result in a much more demanding approach shot over the greenside trap.
Suggested Path
You should finish slightly right and short of the first bunker, resulting in an uphill lob-wedge from a level stance to the centre of the green.
Tip 1
Although it’s the smallest green on the course it has subtle undulations and will offer a single break putt from most locations on the putting surface to the flag.
Tip 2
The tree lined fairway gently undulates between the tee and green such that you may not see the ball come to rest if it lands in a hallow.
Tip 3
The ideal tee shot should be 210m to 225m and finish slightly right and short of the first bunker, resulting in an uphill lob-wedge from a level stance to the centre of the green.
